Wait is terribble.took my money up front before i even saw a dr.will not be back

Brought my daughter in for possible flu, so obviously she is not feeling well. Would have gone to family practitioner first, however they have no appointments available. Spent 3.5 hrs in the waiting room, only to be moved to an exam room and wait another 1.5 hrs to be seen by the only dr on staff. Ultimately we left without being seen by anyone! Can't figure out why, at a time near the holidays & you expect normal dr offices would have holiday hours, this "last resort" wouldn't staff more dr's. For future reference, I will make the 1/2 hour drive to North Charleston to go to Health First! Doctors Care suck's!!!

I went there for foot injury which happened to be broken toes. First off the duration of the appt seemed long considering I was told I was that particular doctor's only patient at the moment. I was told a prescription would be e-scribed to my preferred pharmacy. I said BILO and turns out they don't order boots. I called them back and said BILO didn't order those and told them they recommend Delta or related. I was aked again for my preference or if Walgreens would be okay. I said Walgreens was fine but they just called and said they didn't order those boots either. Am I the only patient they have seen who needed a boot to walk?? I am not calling a third time to ask for this. I was not offered ibuprofen prescription for the swelling even though it comes in 800 mg form which would be more convenient than my 4 pills every 6 hours, I am still without a walking aide and we have 2 puppies and. 4 year old so I really really needed that at the very least. I will NOT waste my time there again and would not have if the x-ray machine wasn't down at healthfirst. It shouldnt be this difficult. The doctors or nurses were sitting around chatting and I realized if I wanted to pick my daughter up in time I would have to hobble out and hear my results later. When I asked for this, the doctor got up finally and resumed taking care of my chart. I honestly don't understand why you people even become doctors and nurses. It's obviously not to provide outstanding care tailored to the need of each patient. I mean honestly?? Sending a cripple on a good chase for a boot?? I don't often write reviews so please take this one to heart. They are not patient oriented. They are on autopilot and do not care.

Only put one star because I couldn't put zero. I checked in online and was a little unsure how it worked I thought it was adding your name to the check in list kinda like call ahead seating at a restraunt. I showed up about 40 minutes later and use the touch screen check in thing at the counter, after about 30 minutes a nurse calls me to the counter. The lady behind the counter very rudely ask me why I'm there and says we didn't text you to come in yet I told her I was unsure about how the online check in worked and just came in to get looked at. She proceeds to tell me again very rudely that I would have to wait at least 3 hours when the last person who came in only had a 2 hour wait. You can forget it doctors care I'll take my money elsewhere. And I hope others do the same.

I'm not sure what is happening behind the counter but i have been to many doctors care and they never go this slow. I'm in the medical field and i understand the process, but this is ridiculous! Only 2 patients have been called back within an hour and a half and there is a full waiting area. Service needs work.
