The food is great if you could ever get someone to answer the phone. They never answer when I am trying to call in for a togo order. Had to just go in and order it in person the other day and 3 people were working, or should I say just standing around doing nothing, and guess what???? The phone was ringing and they were just ignoring it. Only gave them a 2 cause I like the food.
Favorite stop for late night food. And love the over night shift. Mrs. Bev is the best. But some of the new employees could use some lessons from the long term staff on customer service. My waitress, only served me 1 cup of coffee in the 1 hr I was there and then let my ticket sit for 32 min with a $20 on top of it and then clocked out and went home without even cashing me out, she lost that $10 tip.
Thanksgiving morning..... The staff wasn't slammed yet the food looked like it was given very little attention. The last time my husband and I went in the breakfast wasn't great but THIS time was terrible ! Not sure how you burn 2 of the 3 pieces of bacon and the third is almost raw..... The cheesy eggs were over cooked ( unprofessionally overcooked! ) as in any cook even an unprofessional shouldn't have sent these out ! This was just my plate... won't even talk about my husband's plate. The server apologized - there was no Manager that we seen..... a Manager should have addressed the issue but.... They DID NOT. We will not revisit.
Waitresses didnt greet us as we came in. We sat for 5 minutes without a word from anyone. Finally got drinks and ordered. Staff was complaining constantly about various things. They left tables dirty on purpose so no one would sit there. Food was ok at least. Everyone seemed like they were in bad moods and grumpy. Not pleasant dining experience...waffle house used to be so happy and friendly...guess no anymore. Very unprofessional. Disappointed.
Awesome service! We took half of our football and cheer team after our game and everyone was so accommodating. Trice went above and beyond for the tables she served and the cooks got our orders out fast and they were all correct. Thank you all for a wonderful visit.
