Well stocked clean store. Flower department is the best of all grocery stores.
This is the best grocer in our town. Problem is: I shop on Saturday mornings, and there is never anything fresh in produce, until later in the day. I end up making a Sunday trip as well, which sucks. Otherwise, I give it a five for value, price, and customer service. Stock is always rotated, and all items are easy to locate.
I don't know what happened but this bilo has become the worst grocery store in the tri-county area, the groceries, the management and especially the staff. Which I always loved how happy and friendly they used to be but now they don't even say hi or look at you. They won't make it in this town if they continue this way because everyone I talk to is saying they won't shop here anymore for the same reasons. Very disappointing!!
I don't know what has happened to the Moncks Corner BiLo, but it has gone so far down hill. Well, I do know one reason it has its so bad now, they lost a good manager in Oct 2016. Since then the managers dont seem to know, or care, what is going on in, and outside of the store.
I pulled in the other night and 3 young guys were outside riding the buggies around the parking lot. One was in a buggy while another pushed him, and the third one was going so fast he almost hit the glass doors. There is a girl named Chelsea there that just doesn't speak. If she had to do something she drags her feet over and acts like she is doing you a huge favor to help you. I had a receipt issue and one girl totally read the receipt wrong and told me the issue wasn't an issue. I totaled the numbers on my receipt in my car and realized she said a number that was in ( )'s was deducted off my total. How can you work at BiLo and not know the numbers in ( )'s show what the final price is on the item line it's on. This is going to be a problem for many more people because it's a computer error. No one cares to try to resolve it. That would cut in to their standing around time. I've heard totally inappropriate language many times outside and inside the store. I've seen employees sitting in their car playing music that has bad language. I could go on and on. I hate to make the drive but I'm going to start going to the Goise Creek store 20 min away.
Store is much improved under the new management. Clean, bright, and friendly staff now.
