We have always enjoyed Cypress Gardens. Tomorrow we are going AGAIN. Looking for critters when in the boat ride is so much fun....and when flowers are in bloom...wow. We also enjoyed the butterflies, the birds....and more alligators......Everyone should visit this wonderful place.

Partly my fault for not checking the homepage of the website, however Google and Google Maps still lists the Gardens as being open even though of the temporary closure. On vacation from Michigan and went quite out of the way to experience the beautiful gardens. I hope all the best that they can restore the Gardens.

This was my favorite place to go when I come to Charleston. I'm so upset that it is indefinitely closed!!!!!!

I am so in love with Cypress Gardens in Moncks Corner. I live in NJ, but get there whenever I can. When I don't manage to get there, it remains in my memory and imagination. Am definitely going this year -- I miss it too much. This is one of the most stunningly beautiful and calming places in the world -- and I've traveled the world. When I go to Cypress Gardens, I arrive at opening and leave at closing. I explore the gardens, surrounding areas, trails, and swamp, hang out and read a book, enjoy a picnic (I do miss the little cafe that used to be there, though), and just spend the day dreaming and thinking of absolutely nothing involving stress, anxiety, or sadness. This place has that effect! I'm so grateful to all who kept Cypress Gardens going after the devastation of Hugo. Thanks to all of you wonderful people.

So why DMV are charging us taxes for this place ?? DMV must pay back the taxes.
