Always a great experience at a small, quiet park. The trails are awesome for going on a walk with the family or dogs. The views of the river and canal are great, as are the views of the gators and other swamp denizens. Don't expect a challenging hike, but there are some swamp sections which will have you leaping from board to board, or up to your ankles in mud.
Surprising amount of established buildings but they blend with the scenery.
Very historical and quit park. 3$ fee per person.
Wonderful park for the whole family. Nature Center has live baby gator, Berkeley Museum has great ladies who are knowledgeable, beautiful nature trails, canoeing, and little playground for kids.
We are planning to come back for the eclipse, can't wait to add more pictures from then!
Great hiking trails for beginners and up.several different buildings and restrooms. Small playground and very reasonable gate entry cost
Plenty of space to explore, most objects of interest had signs with descriptions or information on them.
This place has some awesome displays and activities. Explains the history of America's first canal, canoe rentals $5 for 30 minutes, indigo dye class and candle making, they seemed to be more informational than actual how-to.
