I can't say enough about this place. The service is great!! The food is outstanding. This is our second visit here and it won't be the last. I highly recommend this place! Burgers and fries are home made. Outstanding! Can't wait to come back. This is our favorite place in Moncks corner.
Tavern was clean and well lit. Very few patrons inside when my partner and I arrived late Saturday afternoon. Service was appropriately timed, but I do think it would have been nice to have a few more minutes between ordering appetizers and the meals.
Service was very demanding and rude they continued to rush me to order as if they were extremely busy when it was completely dead and now I understand why. So I suck it up and just ordered french fries cause it is really hard to mess up french fries but when they got to the table they had more grease/oil than the fryer did they came out of and when I complained the waitress made a rude remark and laughed. I do not recommend anyone to eat here unless you don't mind the bugs in the windows and extremely rude service not once did they ask could they get me something else to try and make it right.
Fun place to gather for pub food and watch the games.
Ordered a side salad to substitute and they brought out a chef salad with bacon, hard boiled eggs and all the other good stuff. I didn't even pay a dollar more for a substitute salad. That may be only for now until their prices go up because their entrees are damn good as well. Ben was super friendly and helpful. Immediately brought me out a bowl of water for my dog. I wouldn't be surprised if this place gets bigger at some point soon.
My partner and I got sandwiches that were tasty and more than we could eat at a single sitting. Chicken wings were excellent as were the fries.
I will definitely return to the Tail Race Tavern to try out the new menu.
